Description
Provides support and assistance to individuals who are withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs.

Service offers:

  • onsite addiction support workers, licensed practical nurses, and medical clinic 
  • addiction stabilization, withdrawal management, relapse prevention 
  • methadone and suboxone assessments
  • addiction treatment planning and referral to addiction treatment programs and AB Works
  • transitional bed program to bridge gap from homelessness to housing, addiction treatment, health care, and other positive destinations

Yes, Service targeted to individuals:
  • age 18 and older
  • who are withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs
 
Application Process
Service Access: See below, To access service:
  • contact to inquire about bed space
  • walk in or call for bed assessment 
 Detox clients can stay overnight in the shelter the night prior to admission, or may come in the morning of admission without ingesting any substances. A call the day before to be placed on the next day's detox list for assessment is mandatory.Referral Process: No,
