Children's Outreach Program

Service offers:

• longer-term outreach support to children and adolescents experiencing a variety of difficulties including grief and loss, separation and divorce, anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) / attention deficit disorder (ADD), and other school adjustment issues
• expanded services to children and adolescents, who are often the biggest victims of domestic abuse even though they are smallest in the family
• support may be offered within an office setting or over the phone depending on circumstances

• residents of Strathmore and the surrounding rural community
• 17 years and younger
• who have been exposed to family violence and abuse
• or are experiencing difficulties such as grief and loss, separation and divorce, anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) / attention deficit disorder (ADD), and other school adjustment issues

• parent / caregivers of potential clients should call for assessment, intake, and appointment time
• and reference Children's Outreach Program when speaking with a staff member
• self-referrals are accepted

There may be a waiting period and the waitlist varies depending on availability of children's outreach worker.
