Description
Provides an accelerated program for learners who wish to take professional programs but have gaps in their learning and / or may lack confidence in their academic abilities.

Service offers:

  • opportunities for individuals to enhance professional skills, update their knowledge in specific areas, and upgrade foundational knowledge in subjects such as Math, English, and Biology
  • interactive online classes led by experienced instructors that foster a supportive learning environment where students can actively participate in discussions, engage in hands-on activities, and apply knowledge
  • assessment and placement based on the student's career goals
  • courses offered over five weeks, with classes scheduled two evenings per week
  • tutoring sessions
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • individuals who have not completed their basic high school education
College Prep Upgrading courses are open to anyone interested in improving their knowledge and skills. An assessment may be required to ensure the course is a good fit. Contact the college for details.

A fee of $250.00 per course applies, plus a textbook fee.


Fee Reduction: Yes,

A 100% tuition discount is available for those who qualify. Course fees may be waived for learners who have been conditionally accepted into a Columbia College professional program. Contact an admissions advisor for more information.
