Calgary Navigation and Support Centre

Service provides:

• various navigation and support services for vulnerable people and those experiencing homelessness

Includes:

• intake services provided by the Salvation Army in partnership with the Calgary Drop-In Centre
• transportation to and from the Navigation and Support Centre, and to a client's next location or referral
• access to Income Support and Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) including emergency financial benefits supported directly by Seniors, Community and Social Services
• on-site and same-day Alberta Identification provided by Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction
• shelter navigation, housing supports, shelter beds on-site, food services, building maintenance and operations
• the ability for clients to lock up their belongings in a safe place
• connections to medical support provided by CUPS
• Virtual Opioid Dependency Program, Recovery Coaches on-site and connections to other mental health and addictions supports provided by Alberta Health Services
• connections to cultural supports provided by local Indigenous organizations
