Senior Lodges

Service provides:

• enhanced apartments and lodge for seniors, each providing a different level of service

Support services include:

• 3 homecooked meals daily
• afternoon and evening snacks
• weekly housekeeping
• personal laundry service (additional charge)
• access to nursing, personal care, and medication assistance through Alberta Health Services (AHS) Home Care program
• regular activities and events
• bus trips for a nominal ridership fee

• seniors 65 years and older
• who are functionally independent with or without assistance from community agencies such as Home Care

• financial status of the applicant
• length of time as a resident of the area
• the condition of present accommodation
• and the need for services such as transportation, meals, housekeeping, medical services, safety, and security

• an application is required
• prospective lodge residents must undergo a doctor's and Home Care medical assessment before being accepted as a resident

Waiting period is based on need.

Sliding scale fees based on income.

Residents with low income may qualify for a rental reduction.
