- Description
- The Family Violence Treatment Program provides assessment and treatment for individuals who have been mandated through the court system to receive treatment related to intimate partner violence (IPV). This program also provides support for victims and family members impacted by intimate partner violence.
Helps individuals improve their relationships and increase personal safety within homes where violence has been present or could exist in the future. Services include:
- assessment and treatment for individuals with intimate partner violence offences and/or behaviors
- access to psychiatric, mental health, intimate partner violence treatment and addiction services
- individual and group therapy
- support and treatment for victims and family members impacted by intimate partner violence

- Service Access: See below, Adults may be referred by Probation / Community Corrections for intimate partner violence assessment and treatment.
Self referrals, and referrals from therapists, Children’s Services, family doctors and other community referrals are also considered if there are intimate partner abuse issues or risk.
