Provides a temporary shelter residence that can provide safety and support to women.

Service provides:

  • a temporary shelter residence that can provide safety and support to up to 96 women at a time on a first come first served basis

Includes:

  • 24/7 staff support and management of the site for residents including assistance and support to make plans to address their immediate crisis needs and housing plans
  • participation of staff and residents in the day-to-day living tasks involved in communal living
  • individualized supports and advocacy that focus on the dignity and empowerment of everyone
  • basic meals
  • showers
  • assistance with storing client belongings, including a bike, while they are on campus for intake or during the day program
  • housing referrals and case management
  • advocacy
  • workshops and day programs
  • cultural supports

This service is based on a recovery-oriented model of care.

Nightime service intake occurs at 4:00 PM. Check out for breakfast and shower is 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Clients are welcome to stay on campus for the daytime programs and services. Those who stay on campus can check back in at 3:00 PM whereas check in / intake for people from off campus starts at 4:00 PM.
