Offers a wide range of activities and programs that help newcomer youth develop essential knowledge and skills to live and work in Canada

Service provides:

  • general education and integration support for youth
  • career and business support for youth

Includes:

  • Youth Talk and Information Sessions - information about essential services, the education system, and social culture in Canada, personal and interpersonal learning and skill development, and learning and practicing the English language
  • Youth Work Exposure Program and Youth Business Training Program - knowledge and skill building for work and business in Canada, networking opportunities, and job application and entrepreneurial development support
  • networking with employers, potential partners, mentors, and peers
  • employment supports driven by client's needs and priorities
  • group activities and programs (training, networking, fairs)
  • professional resources and referrals
  • after-school activities
  • academic skill development
  • English language training and facilitated conversational practice
  • peer engagement opportunties
