Private Sponsorship of Refugees Program

Service provides:

• sponsorship and welcoming of refugees from various regions worldwide

Includes:

• resettling arriving refugees and providing support for integrating into Canadian society
• assisting in refugee arrivals, supporting newly-arrived immigrants, and reuniting families

• individuals wanting to sponsor a refugee

• Canadian citizens and / or permanent residents
• who are 18 years and older
• and show ample ability to support a newcomer upon arrival

• contact to book an appointment with the Refugee Sponsorship Co-ordinator

Those eligible join a waiting list where they will be called and assessed in person to determine sponsoring capacity. Demand for this program is high and spaces are limited as issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

There is an administration fee for sponsorship applications.
