Offers a grant to support unemployed and under-employed Albertans pursuing careers in the trucking industry.

Service provides:

  • a grant to support obtaining a Class 1 driver's licence by covering more than 90% of training and testing costs to help Albertans start careers as commercial drivers, which will help reduce labour shortages in the transportation and warehousing industry

  • unemployed and / or under-employed residents of Alberta
  • 18 years and older
  • who meet all requirements to get a Class 1 driver's licence
