Description
Service provides parents and children who have experienced family abuse with an integrated approach to developing healthy attachment strategies.

Service offers:

  • supportive counselling, education, safety planning, and other tools to parents and children who have witnessed or experienced family abuse to help foster healthy attachment
  • early intervention programming to reduce risk factors and increase protective factors in a child's life

Includes:

  • crisis support through group and individual counselling, and parent coaching
  • personal and family safety planning
  • educational sessions that cover the effects of trauma on childhood development, positive parenting techniques, expressing emotions, and fostering self-esteem

  • resources and referrals for community supports
