Helps people acquire identification (ID) and provides a safe and secure place to store ID and important documents.

Service offers:

  • help to people in acquiring their identification (ID)
  • a safe and secure place to store important documents and ID to prevent repeated loss or theft of identification

ID may include:

  • Alberta Health Care Card
  • Alberta (AB) Photo ID
  • Provincial Birth Certificates
  • Status Cards (Secure Certificate of Indian Status)

Funding may need to be arranged for for Birth Certificates and photo ID, usually through social services.


Affiliation: Partnered with United Way Alberta Treasury Branch, Urban Aboriginal Partnership, Alberta Health Services (AHS), Bissell Centre, City of Edmonton, and Operation Friendship Seniors Society.
