Provides a program for youth which focuses on the concepts related to choices and consequences.

Service provides:

  • a full day session addressing youth risk-taking, the use of alcohol, and examining the realities and impact of drinking and driving

Includes:

  • meeting injury survivors
  • listening to health care workers describe the journey of a trauma patient
  • listening to facts about brain and spinal cord injuries

Affiliation: Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Healthcare Centre staff, Health Promotion Services staff, local schools, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), a variety of community volunteers, Victim Services
