- Provides individuals 18 years and older with a safe space to withdraw from alcohol, drugs, or other substances in a medically supported environment.
Service offers:
- a short - term residential program to support individuals in safely withdrawing from alcohol, drugs, or other substances
Includes:
- 24 hour staff support
- medically supported withdrawal management guided by a physician and nursing team
- ongoing withdrawal management assessments
- assistance opioid replacement therapy as needed
- meals and snacks
- laundry facilities and basic toiletries
- clothing as needed
- dormitory - style sleeping arrangements
- in - house group sessions such as Sharing Circles, 12-step group sessions, SMART Recovery Group, health education and promotion, and wellness activities
- access to addictions counselling
- cultural and religious supports to meet unique client needs
