Service provides:
- a program that will prepare Indigenous youth for entry level employment in hospitality in 11 weeks
Includes:
- 8 weeks in the classroom and 3 weeks in a paid work placement
- a focus on soft skills and professional skills
- resume writing
- job search and interviewing skills
- a monthly living allowance
- all materials and supplies
- hospitality courses certified by the American Hospitality Lodging Education Institute (AHLEI)
- employment certifications such as Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Food Safety, First Aid, and Pro-Serve
- public transportation support
- 90 days of continued support after program completion
- Grounding Ceremony and Elder Blessing
- opportunity to meet experts in the hospitality industry
- excursions outside the classroom
- mentorship and coaching.
