Offers an early intervention preschool program for families with low income.

Service offers:

  • free, early intervention preschool program for families with low income; fosters children to learn and strengthen their social and emotional capacity, which significantly increases success in school and life
  • Parent Groups, Parenting Education, English Conversation Circle, and Literacy Groups

Includes:

  • emphasis on family and community support for best learning outcomes
  • building trusting relationships with children and families for healthy growth and development
  • support and help to achieve success and increase self¿esteem and confidence through use of Sustainable Livelihood Model and a strengths-based approach
  • opportunity for a family's support networks to expand as they connect with their community and peers to help achieve success
  • support for families to build their parenting capacity and support them in their role as the key resource in their child's life
  • a focus on inclusiveness in all classrooms and programs and learning through play
  • curriculum that follows the Alberta FLIGHT Framework; programs planned based on children's interest and abilities

All adults are welcome to attend English Conversation Circle and Daily Literacy Group. Program welcomes and supports children and families with diverse learning needs and family dynamics, regardless of gender identity, religion, race, sexual orientation, and culture.
