Focuses on the needs and rights of essential workers in and around Calgary.

Service offers:

  • empower essential workers in the meatpacking and health sectors to improve safety and working environment

Includes:

  • community engagement and participatory action research to inform systems change and policy advocacy
  • community conversation circle: a safe space for racialized people to voice their lived and living experiences on occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
  • support networks and community organizations that offer solidarity, advice and assistance to racialized essential workers
  • build capacities for essential workers in the community
  • provide relevant information about labour law, employment standards and worker rights
