Description
Referrals to the STAT program is an internal program referral through the Community Geriatric Mental Health Service.

It is an internal GMHCS service access by the GMHCS intake coordinator and / or the psychiatrists. STAT program invovlement is typically short term and 4-5 months.

Types of services delivered:

1. Further mental health assessment for:

  • assessing for approrpriateness / therapeutic capacity for CGMHS services and / or community based programs
  • determine / explore level of engagment/follow through
  • identify / clarify therapeutic goals

2. Short Term Interim support between programs

3. Short Term Therapy (approximately 6 sessions)

4. Psychiatrist Consultation / Medication Review
