- Referrals to the STAT program is an internal program referral through the Community Geriatric Mental Health Service.
It is an internal GMHCS service access by the GMHCS intake coordinator and / or the psychiatrists. STAT program invovlement is typically short term and 4-5 months.
Types of services delivered:
1. Further mental health assessment for:
- assessing for approrpriateness / therapeutic capacity for CGMHS services and / or community based programs
- determine / explore level of engagment/follow through
- identify / clarify therapeutic goals
2. Short Term Interim support between programs
3. Short Term Therapy (approximately 6 sessions)
4. Psychiatrist Consultation / Medication Review
