Provides a 1-time bursary to individuals, families, or caregivers impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD).

Service offers

  • a bursary to individuals, families, or caregivers impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD)

Funds may be used for:

  • courses and classes (not core education; not conferences)
  • tutoring
  • employment readiness
  • health and wellness (such as transportation or dental costs)
  • respite care (such as summer camps)
  • housing support (costs like moving or storage, not rent or damage deposit)
  • identification (such as driver's license or passport)
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • individuals and families residing in the Calgary area
  • experiencing or impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD)
  • that have exhausted all other sources for funding
Priority is given to individuals that have not previously received the bursary.
