Wheels of Hope

Service offers:

• transportation for cancer patients to approved cancer treatment facilities

• age 18 and older; if younger than 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian
• who do not have other means of transportation to their cancer treatments
• who are able to walk on their own and get in and out of a vehicle without assistance
• attending radiation, chemotherapy and diagnostic appointments related to active treatment and psychosocial and physiotherapy appointments
• client and volunteer driver must wear an N95 or other medical grade masks

• rides must be booked with four business days notice
• clients may request up to one roundtrip ride per day

Clients need to be referred to our volunteer driver program by a member of their healthcare team at the hospital or cancer clinic where they are receiving treatment.
