- Provides awareness, prevention, and a co-ordinated response to abuse of elders.
Service provides:
- Elder Abuse Intake - intake process to answer questions, provide referrals for local supports and services, and when appropriate, a referral to Stop Abuse in Families Society's adult counselling program or group programs

Elder Abuse Awareness - presentations to the community, organizations, and businesses who want to be able to recognize the signs of elder abuse, how to help, and what resources are available for those in their community on this issue
- Reporting of Elder Abuse - encouragement of the general public to report elder abuse whenever they suspect it's occurring; reporting often leads to interventions that can save property, money, dignity, and life
Elder is defined as 50 years and older.
