Provides free ongoing services for individuals of all genders who have experienced family violence to access confidential emotional and practical support in both English and Chinese languages.

Service provides:

  • confidential support services for family violence victims

Includes:

  • emotional support and supportive counselling
  • information on family violence and community resources
  • information on the criminal justice system and rights of victims
  • court preparation and support
  • respect and support for victims to make informed choices about their options
  • the use of risk management tools to assist in developing individualized safety plans with victims
  • consultation and referrals
  • advocacy and practical support for victims in seeking financial assistance, housing, legal aid, and in dealing with immigration issues
