Offers support for violence and suicide prevention.

Service provides:

  • information and support to prevent suicide, physical, psychological, and sexual violence
  • prevention of abuse / neglect, domestic violence, elder abuse, racism, sexual assault / date rape, discrimination, and suicide or self-harm

Includes:

  • resource material on all forms of violence directed towards one's self or others
  • services to Indigenous, immigrant, and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) communities with respect and care for their unique needs
  • safety planning for individuals wanting to leave an abusive relationship

Affiliation: Alberta Council of Women's Shelters, Alberta Health Services, Brazeau County, Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), Healthy Communities Coalition, Wild Rose School Division
Key Provider: life skills coach, occupational health and safety expert, program co-ordinator, suicide prevention specialist

  • or those who have experienced or are currently experiencing abuse
