Provides employment and life skill training.

Service offers:

  • a 10 week employment and life skills training program for youth

Includes:

  • a case management approach tailored to each participant
  • client assessments
  • creating a personal life plan to identify career goals
  • learning about work search skills, interview skills, and Canadian workplace culture
  • resume and cover letter assistance
  • financial literacy
  • computer skill training
  • labour market information
  • a 12 week paid work placement

Affiliation: Partnered with Service Canada
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to permanent residents:
  • 18 to 30 years
  • who are Permanent Residents of Canada, Refugees, or Canadian Citizens
  • and are not receiving government support
