Provides in-person/online, no cost one-on-one career coaching and career workshops for LINC-eligible Permanent Residents and Convention Refugees.

Service offers support in:

  • career exploration
  • building your resume and cover letter
  • practicing for an interview
  • creating a career action plan
  • accessing funds for safety training related to career goals
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to individuals:
  • who qualify for the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program
  • at least 18 years old
  • having a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 3 or higher
  • who are Permanent Residents or Convention Refugees
Application Process
Service Access: Registration Required, To access service: Candidates will register via the website. Once it is confirmed that a candidate meets eligibility criteria, they will be emailed a link to a booking page where clients can book appointments/register for workshops.

Waiting Period: Yes,

First time clients accessing the service will need to wait for a few days to have their registration verified. Once it is confirmed that they are eligible to access the services they can book appointments via booking page.
