- This is a complementary service intended for patients with severe and / or treatment unmanageable addiction presentations who require assessment and treatment from an addiction medicine specialist.
This service offers a variety of clinicians, to assess and treat patients with addiction presentations. Focusing on stabilization and returning to the lead care provider.

- Yes, Referred patients should not require inpatient medical detoxification.

- Service Access: Professional Referral Required, Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.
This program admits patients by physician referral and will accept referrals from other professionals if the patient is connected to a primary care provider or AMH lead provider who is willing to take over care once the patient is stabilized.
Admissions are by appointment only following received and accepted referral.
