Offers volunteer-based, on-the-spot support during a traumatic incident and follow-up referral services.

Service provides:

  • promotion of and advocacy for the rights and entitlements of victims of crime and tragedy
  • information, support, and community referrals for victims of crime and tragedy

Includes:

  • providing encouragement to victims
  • focusing on the prevention of any further victimization
  • assistance with any trauma management that may be required

Affiliation: Partnered with Alberta Justice and Solicitor General and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) through a provincial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
