- Provides a 6-month matched savings program to teach individuals how to save money and give them the skills to take control of their finances.
Service offers:
- 6-month matched savings program
- 2-hour workshops per month over 6 months that cover a range of topics such as debt, saving, and consumerism
- opportunities for participants to save between $20.00 and $50.00 of their own money into a savings account that will be used to purchase an asset
After the program, Rise Calgary will match participants' savings 3:1 for a total potential savings of $1,200.00
