Description
Provides successful tenancies by identifying and reducing barriers to housing stability and ensuring supports are in place.

Service provides:

  • consultation and support for individuals who are at risk of homelessness and eviction
  • short-term housing support with the purpose of increasing housing stability

Housing support worker (HSW) may include assistance with:

  • first months rent
  • security deposit
  • rental arrears
  • utility arrears
  • monthly rent supplement

Affiliation: Partnered with and funded by City of Lethbridge.
Key Provider: case managers, community support workers, emergency service personnel, medical personnel, mental health therapists, public health personnel workers
