Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Supports and Services

Service provides:

• voluntary and confidential fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) supports, services, and education

Includes:

• Parent Child Assistance Program (PCAP) - support for up to 3 years for women to identify and overcome challenges that they face in their lives, including issues related to addiction treatment, guardianship of children, legal trouble, family planning, parenting, housing, training, education, and more, to support them to reduce or stop alcohol and / or drug use during pregnancy, to achieve and maintain recovery, and to support healthy pregnancies and lives for women and their children through community connections
• FASD Mentorship Program - 1-to-1 mentorship for individuals who may be prenatally exposed to drugs and/or alcohol, possible resulting in FASD; mentors work with participants to develop strategies to build effective social and life skills, develop and implement personal goals, connect to other community programs and services, and work with the individual's circle of influence, including family, caregivers, educators, and service providers

• individuals who have a confirmed or possible fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) diagnosis
• and women of childbearing years who have experienced alcohol or substance misuse currently or in the past
