Helps seniors access government programs by providing information and referrals.

Service provides:

  • information and referrals for seniors

Includes:

  • a Resource Centre with written information resources
  • computer access to information
  • telephone or in-person consultation and referral
  • assistance to access appropriate services / programs
  • assistance with completion of application forms
  • advocacy on behalf of client
  • Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP)
  • presentations on seniors programs
  • information and presentation on fraud awareness for seniors
  • free deliver of groceries, food bank deliveries, medications, and prescriptions
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • older adults
  • adult children caring for aging parents
Income tax filing also available to younger individuals with low income.
