Service provides:
- free goal-directed counselling sessions offered online, by phone, or in person
Includes:
- individual, couples / interpersonal relationship, family, and group counsellling
- presentations in collaboration with community groups, organizations, churches, and businesses
- groups for children, youth, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer / questioning plus (LGBTQ+)
Counselling topics may include:
- counselling to navigate through life
- discovering existing strengths and / or resources
- enhancing relationships
- grief and loss
- managing emotions
- relationships
- coping strategies
- interpersonal skills
Does not provide mental health assessments, diagnoses, or address mental disorders (such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), borderline personality disorder (BPD), sexual abuse, or childhood trauma).
