Description
Short-term goal focus therapy offered to children and youth who are experiencing mental health and / or addiction concerns.

Services offered: assessment, individual psychotherapy, option to attend groups in some locations. Concurrent treatment is available with an addiction counselor if appropriate. Crisis Services are available through the local emergency department or by calling 911.

Eligibility
Yes, Call the ACCESS Addiction and Mental Health line to complete an intake assessment, please note that eligibility for services will be determined through this intake screen. Children and youth addiction and mental health serves clients between the ages of 5 and 17 years of age.

Service Access: Professional Referral Required, Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information. You can self refer through the ACCESS Addiction Mental Health Line 1-888-594-0211. After hours crisis please call the crisis helpline or go to your nearest emergency department.
