Hears applications under the Family Law Act with respect to child and spousal support, guardianship of children, contact between non-parent or non-guardian, parenting claims, and mental health applications; hears child protection matters under the related acts.

Service offers:

  • the hearing of claims regarding spousal and child support and claims and proceedings for parenting, guardianship and contact claims when divorce is not an issue
  • the hearing of all Children's Services matters including private guardianship applications and all other services under the Youth and Family Enhancement Act, Protection of Sexually Exploited Children Act, Protections of Children Abusing Drugs Act, Drug Endangered Children Act, and Protection against Family Violence Act
