Service offers:

  • information on grants for students with permanent disabilities attending designated post-secondary institutions
  • information on a grant covering tuition, textbooks, and accommodation costs for eligible students with permanent disabilities
  • information on the Canada Student Loan Program, which offers a Severe Permanent Disability Benefit, which forgives student loans for borrowers unable to pursue further post-secondary education or work due to a severe and permanent disability
  • grants do not need to be paid back

  • an official from a centre for students with disabilities;
  • guidance counselor; or
  • financial aid administrator from the student’s school
