Description
Provides a monthly taxable benefit to individuals who have contributed to the Canada Pension Plan.

Service offers:

  • monthly taxable benefit for retired contributors at age 65
  • if eligible, individuals will receive the Canadian Pension Plan for the duration of their lifetime
  • options of a reduced pension at age 60 or an increased pension at age 70
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • individuals age 60 and older
  • have made at least one valid contribution to the Candian Pension Plan (CCP)
Valid contributions can come from work you did in Canada or credits received from a former spouse or former common-law partner after the relationship ends.

  • by phone, inquiries can be made about application status or the monthly payment amount and date
