Green Room Youth Program, The


Description
Offers an opportunity for youth to meaningfully connect, grow, and serve their community.

Service provides:

  • opportunities for youth to socialize, study, de-stress, seek help, participate in various events, and connect to one another and their city

Includes:

  • weekly youth leadership workshop sessions to strengthen community building skills and prosocial behaviour
  • pop-up drop-in events at the University of Alberta and Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) campuses
  • community events, dsicussions, and socials throughout the year
  • mentorship opportunities for both mentor and mentee
Affiliation: Funded by Family and Community Support Services (FCSS).Key Provider: chaplains, community engagement leads, program managers
