Description
Provides medical detoxification services by qualified nursing staff and a consulting physician.

The Northern Addictions Centre (NAC) is a residential facility that provides safe detoxification services, with 24-hour care. Services provided include:

  • health stabilization
  • assessment
  • referral
  • information sessions
  • an introduction to self-help groups

The centre also offers addiction treatment planning, facilitated by addiction counselors.

Available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Phoning in ahead to confirm bed availability and planned admission will reduce waiting times. Services are provided by appointment and by a walk-in basis.

 

Main Reception is open Monday – Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, excluding STAT holidays. Visiting hours are Mon - Fri 6:00pm - -10:00pm, Sat & Sun 4:00pm - 8:00pm.
