- Description
- A team of Family Doctors, Nurse Practitioners & Nurses providing after hours care in the comfort of one's home: private home, seniors facilities, community centres, etc.
The service provides:
- House calls: in-person, and by phone
- Assessments: blood pressures, ears and throat
- urine collection, draw bloods and take to the lab.
- wound care, ear syringing
- refill prescriptions,
- vaccines and injections, eg, seasonal influenza, pneumococcal, hepatitis, MMR, IVF injections
referral to specialist care - link back to one's family doctor
- provide health education, e.g smoking cessation, weight management, diabetes mellitus management
Services are provided to Albertans of all ages in Edmonton & Calgary. Services covered by Alberta Health with no cost to the patient.
