  • connections between seniors and others in the community through a weekly telephone support system
  • social interaction with a friendly person and help finding resources if needed

Includes:

  • reducing isolation, loneliness, and disconnectedness among seniors
  • building genuine relationships that ease loneliness during stressful times due to the pandemic which has affected older adults

Application Process
Service Access: Registration Required, To access service:
  • seniors may be referred to the program by family members, friends, or health professionals
  • volunteers must apply, submit a police information check, and complete an interview
