Recreation and Parks Department

Service provides:

• recreational amenities and aquatic, skating, community, and arts and culture programs

• recreational facilities, aquatic facilities, and sports areas
• booking and scheduling of all city-owned recreational facilities
• information on community and programs

Facilities include:

• Servus Credit Union Place

• Fountain Park Recreation Centre

• Outdoor Sports Areas

• Jarome Iginla and Kinex Arenas

• Grosvenor Outdoor Pool

• Woodlands Water Play Park

• 5 community clubhouses

Includes booking and scheduling of:

• skating arenas and outdoor rinks
• tennis courts and sports fields, including fowler athletic field
• club houses, and St. Albert school facilities
• skateboard park and Riel Recreation Park
• Lions Park large picnic shelter

Programs include:

• adult, children's, and advanced aquatics
• first aid certification
• preschool programs
• preschool skating, public skating, and Shinny Hockey
• performing arts and visual arts classes
• additional programs
