Description
Provides free counselling from various licensed therapists.

Service provides:

  • free counselling

Includes:

  • formal, one hour, one-to-one counselling sessions in the form of short term intervention utilizing solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy
  • culturally trained counsellors
  • counselling available for individuals, families, couples, children, and youth
  • treatment of anxiety, stress, panic attacks, burnout, post-traumatic stress, obsessive thinking, relationship issues, depression, grief, loss, and stressors associated with COVID-19 

Sessions are available online or in-person, pending COVID-19 recommendations. 

Affiliation: Partnered with the Alberta Black Therapists Network and United Way.
