Offers funding for service dog acquisition and equine-assisted learning for first responders, veterans, health professionals, frontline community workers and / or their family members.

Service provides:

  • Service Dog Acquisition - financial aid to those who require the assistance of a service dog in overcoming the long term effects of occupational stress injuries (OSIs) / post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other related issues
  • Equine Assisted Learning Program - referral to and funding towards equine-assisted events and therapy to aid in the recovery of OSIs and PTSD
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to currently serving or retired:
  • veterans
  • first responders
  • police
  • border services officers
  • nurses and hospital personnel
  • correctional officers
  • all frontline community workers
  • frontline emergency response personnel
  • or their family members
