- Offers opportunities for people who have sold drugs that are interested in making amends with the community to assist in educating parents based on their personal experience at Family Recovery Group meetings.
Service provides:
- opportunities for people who are in recovery from substance use disorders and addiction to assist in educating parents based on their personal experience at virtual Family Recovery Group meetings
Includes:
- potential completion of court-ordered community service work or counselling
- a certificate for those who successfully complete the program
- the opportunity for individuals to stay involved with Parents Empowering Parents (PEP) Society as Motivational Experience alumni
Participants should be willing to explore how their past choices have impacted individuals, families, and the community, and respond respectfully to the same.
Affiliation: Partnered with Edmonton Drug Treatment Court.
