Service provides:
- the lending of donated sheepskins to palliative families in the community; medical grade sheepskin is an Australian product (dyed green) that reduces friction and regulates body temperature to promote blood flow and healing of pressure ulcers, diabetic wounds, and other chronic sores
Donated sheepskins are appropriately cleaned with Skintan (a cleaning solution), inventoried, and then are ready to be loaned. When the sheepskins are no longer necessary, they ask that they are appropriately cleaned and then returned for the next family to use.
