  • support for victims of crimes and their families to recover from the trauma of their experience

Supports may include:

  • getting medical assistance when required
  • assistance navigating the legal system
  • an opportunity to provide input to parole or clemency hearings
  • take appropriate steps, where relevant, to avoid becoming re-victimized
  • access the benefits that can help rebuild lives
