Provides employability skills training for youth who previously experienced barriers to employment.

Service provides:

  • pathways to employment and career development 

Includes:

  • support in improving soft skills for relationship building and gaining visibility
  • fosters adaptability
  • creates more opportunities for advancement 
  • employability skills enhancement
  • career exploration and guidance
  • resume building and interview preperation
  • exploring cultural identity
  • job search and referrals
  • connection with employers
  • safety tickets and other certificates 
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • youth aged between 15 and 30
  • unemployed
  • facing several barriers to getting and keeping a job
  • Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or have Refugee status in Canada with a work permit
Application Process
Service Access: Application Required, Contact for more information. Eleven youth are admitted into the program with priority given to those facing several significant barriers to finding or keeping employment. Referral Process: No
