Provides services to promote family wellness and provide support for families of young children.
Service offers:
- assessment, information and referral, and support from a community outreach worker who is mobile and can meet with families in their homes or nearby community based centres
- informative and supportive monthly daytime coffee socials for children and parents including play activities, childcare, and information sessions on topics of interest
- monthly evening single parent group offering socializing, guest speakers, and time to share with other parents in a similar situation; childcare is provided free of charge, but pre-registration must be done one week in advance
