- to take collective action and generate solutions to systemic social issues facing the community at a grassroots level
Topics include:
- affordable housing - an affordable housing strategy to maintain and enhance affordable housing options and contract management for existing affordable housing units
- homeless initiatives - housing first model; fund community agencies working to decrease homelessness; membership in the 7 Cities Network
- collaboration with diverse stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to increase inclusion and address social issues including: Welcome and Inclusive Communities, poverty reduction, Youth Action Network, Community Advisory Board on Housing and Homelessness, Grande Prairie Local Immigration Partnership, and the Community Opioid Response Task Force
