  • free and confidential legal advice at evening clinics to individuals in a low-income financial bracket who do not qualify for Legal Aid

Includes:

  • a lawyer who will explain your legal issue
  • outline steps that can be taken
  • help fill out documents
  • and give referrals to other organizations

Legal topics include:

  • family law
  • immigration law
  • criminal law
  • employment
  • debt / contracts
  • guardianship / trusteeship
  • small claims / civil law
  • personal injury
  • wills / estates
  • traffic / bylaw

Affiliation: Partnered with Edmonton Community Legal Centre, the Community Village, and Grande Prairie lawyers.

Before the appointment, clients should:
  • organize and bring any important papers including court document or letters
  • make childcare arrangements and if possible not bring children to the appointment
Does not provide representation in court.
